aCalendarForge Editor's Review

aCalendarForge is a program that can create Web pages in order to display events.

The application builds the calendar formats using a manifest file. It comes bundled with three sample manifests in order to test its functionality.

You can switch between different calendar formats, different colors, between different time periods. You can also have different styles and layouts and you can show different events.

This is a very useful tool if you frequently update your calendar events; you need to show the same events in different formats, need to handle different event lists, need to handle a large number of events.

Since all the calendar building is based on these manifests, which are in plain text file type, it is recommended to read the Help file where the manifest's syntax is explained very well. Once you will get used with the syntax it will be very easy to build your own calendars.

Pluses: it is a very useful application for the people who need to build different calendar formats.

Drawbacks / flaws: learning how to build your own manifests can be a little difficult.

In conclusion: if you are a person who uses a lot of calendar types and you need lots of custom settings for these types then this program might be your solution.
